Simon was excellent from the start. We had two video calls to discuss what we would like and what he could offer us. Simon visited the venue prior to the date in order to see the reception room and gauge lighting etc. We did not want posed photos as it was only an evening reception and wanted our guests to relax, eat, drink and dance. If you do one thing for your wedding book Simon - he's absolutely incredible. He took time to visit the venue beforehand, as it was new to him, so he could familiarise himself with the space. On the day, he arrived earlier on the day than anyone else (even though we'd only booked him for the ceremony onwards) and began capturing the atmosphere from the moment guests started to arrive.
We had very few requests, one of which was no formal or staged photos. We wanted natural, candid moments - and Simon delivered this perfectly. When we received our photos we were blown away. The sheer number of images were amazing, and every single one sparks a conversation or brings back a special memory from the day.
One of the most impressive moments was how he captured the dancefloor. Somehow, Simon bought out the vibrant colour of the glowsticks, creating fun, colourful, and eye catching photos of our family and friends enjoying themselves.
We couldn't be happier with our photos or the service Simon provided. He truly listened to what we wanted and delivered results that far exceeded our expectations. Simon has an incredible eye for detail, a natural ability to capture emotion, and a talent for telling the story of the day through his photography.
